ADMISSION AND RETENTION POLICY

I. ADMISSION POLICIES

1. Applicant must have qualified in UNP College Admission Test (UNP-CAT) with a rating of 75%.
2. A Degree Holder is exempted from the above policy.

II. RETENTION POLICIES
A. The student must not have three (3) failing marks in a semester.

B. The student must not fail in two (2) major subjects within a semester.

C. Students disqualified in one program may be readmitted in other programs provided they meet the admission requirements for the program.

D. The student must not have a maximum accumulated failing marks of nine (9) subjects at the end of their third year in the Institute.  If a student does so, he is recommended to finish only his Certificate in Building Technology  (CBT).

E. A final grade of Incomplete (Inc.) not removed after a year or before the start of the next school year shall be recomputed for a final Failing grade of 5.0.

F. Previously disqualified students shall be barred from readmission.
